Sell Your Coins in Allentown, Bethlehem & Easton
The Lehigh Valley is about an hour up the Northeast Extension from our office in Jenkintown, and we make that drive for coin collections and estates in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Emmaus, Whitehall, Macungie, Nazareth, Northampton and the surrounding townships. There's no charge for the house call.
Two counties, two probate offices
The Lehigh Valley straddles two counties, and it matters which one the estate is in. Lehigh County estates go through the Register of Wills at the courthouse on West Hamilton Street in Allentown; Northampton County estates go through the Register of Wills at the Government Center on Washington Street in Easton. Either office takes the Pennsylvania inheritance-tax return, which values a collection as of the date of death. For a written figure, see our estate coin appraisals.
Is it worth the call?
Often, yes, and we'll tell you honestly when it isn't. Silver coins from before 1965 are worth well over face value. Gold coins, Morgan and Peace dollars, key dates, proof sets, certified coins and old U.S. paper money can be worth much more. A large accumulation of common coins may be worth less than people hope, and we'll say so before anyone spends a day on it.
How to reach us
Send front-and-back photos through our Sell To Us page or call 215-576-7272, and we'll arrange a time. Don't clean the coins, and don't break up sets or rolls before we see them. More in Selling an inherited collection.
